I am always planning and looking forward to my next trip and it's becoming harder for me to stay in any one place for too long :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away.

Be brave enough to live creatively.

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I look forward to meeting new people from around the world while I am in Japan, home in the US or traveling and will host whenever I have a couch to offer. I also participate in meetings both big and small whenever possible and am part of the new member welcome group.

Update: I feel like I'm always learning new things about this great community. Example - I found the ++make note and ++contact list buttons in June and now I think they are some of the best tools ever because I can find potential hosts and even write up requests in advance without sending them two months before I'd like to surf their couch. During long periods of travel this is great if you're relying on internet cafes and such for internet. Oh and in case you're wondering, those two magical buttons are above the member's picture and you can find people you've added or made a note on by going to 'my personal connections' and then clicking on contact list. Enjoy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Attended many meetings and surfed throughout Europe and Japan. Hosted in Germany and now in Japan!

So far I have had very fun and interesting experiences everywhere I have been. Everyone I've met has taught me something new about myself, themselves, life, traveling, cooking, etc. so I hope to do the same for others!
