As is the case for most people I' m trying to strike a balance between the things that matter now vs. what matters for the future and between what matters for me, vs. for we and us.
This means balancing adventure with work. My kids with my sense of self. My goals with my reality, what I want with what is right.
In practice this means being present with my kids when we're reading and exploring. Working hard to make a positive difference through my work. Loving my partner. And following my unsatiated thirst to find out what's around the next corner... whenever I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find traveling and meeting new people one of the most important aspects of life. There is nothing like travel to reaffirm or challenge a long held view. Nothing like meeting someone new to inspire and inform.
I love the idea that we all have lots to give. Whether that's physical or emotional space to give to others.
