My friends know me as a friendly, cheerful, warm and hospitable person, looking much younger than in fact I am:) I'm keen on cosy home gatherings with board games and lots of tea or wine, as well as parties, gigs, festivals and the rest. On the whole, I'm a social, outgoing, open-minded, sincere person and respectively I like similar qualities in others because I find it difficult to be friends with people who are reserved or never speak their mind.

Before moving to the UK in 2010 (first to study Culture and Arts at Kent uni, and when it didn't work out - Film & TV in Glasgow) I studied English Language and Culture at Vilnius University for 4 years. I love European languages, and Spanish is probably my favourite.

I'm highly interested in cinema (esp. non-commercial), music, dance, literature. I'm a keen hitch-hiker, spontaneous things for me are the most beautiful ones.

It's not quite the case with food, though.. I accept exotic kinds of food with great difficulty if do at all. This trait may not be much of a traveller's, but i feel helpless to change it - the change usually takes some time for me to embrace:) I'm also a passionate onion hater, which makes my life ridiculously difficult..

Tooootally love cats. And it's mutual.

I love seeing places through the eyes of local dwellers! The beaten tourist tracks are just so boring, and the guides so predictable - I think eliminating the element of surprise and adventure defeats the purpose of travelling! Hence Couch Surfing:)

Oh, I'm a film buff:) Love art-house films, beautiful, touching, original! I've just graduated from Film&TV course at Glasgow uni and working away at the local art-house cinema. I also love traveling, crafts, cats, creative writing, dancing and many, many things, which I'll leave for you to find out on your own:)
