Interested in learning more about the community, and very appreciative of the infrastructure as I get started!

Interests

Outdoorsy stuff - paddling, skiing, cycling, hiking/backpacking. Very Portland.

The Northwest also has excellent breweries and unique cuisine. Might not have the "bright lights, big city" feel of SF or Seattle, but I enjoy the nightlife!

Teach, Learn, Share

I coach sea kayaking, and enjoy sharing knowledge on the water. Professionally, I am studying for the professional geologist's exam; that's pretty narrow interest.

I'm always interested in learning new things about the place I live, and there's no better way to do it than through new eyes of visitors!
