About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get to know different cultures, people and ways of living.

ABOUT ME

At the moment I am living in the UK working as a localization tester for video games. I also write for an Austrian online music magazine which covers pretty much everything in Heavy Metal music to all sorts of rock (Indie/ALternative etc.)

I might seem quite reserved when I meet people for the first time but people who know me better know that I can let myself go as well. I enjoy laughing a lot (about the silliest things), so it happens every now and then that I don't really act my age! (see the inner child-part above)
All in all, I consider myself an open-minded, easygoing, reliable and funny person.

PHILOSOPHY

Even though life can be hard sometimes I always try to focus on the sunny side of it. ...or as Brandon Lee said: "It can't rain all the time."
Other than that I rely on music + cynicism = the best ways to deal with the harsh realities of life ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

still have to figure that out :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first Couchsurfing experiences during my semester abroad in the end of 2007 which was a lot of fun! Over the years I've had several other CS experiences in Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit and Cleveland which have all been nothing but positive. For the past 2 years I haven't really been active in the CS community but I've recently found my passion for traveling again. I am really trying to check my profile on a regular basis and make CS a bigger part of my life.

Interests

NO MUSIC = NO LIFE. My heart belongs to all kinds of rock and metal music but I'm also open to other genres such as Funk, Blues, Jazz, Electronica, Acoustic or Singer-Songwriter stuff. I love going to LIVE GIGS. Other hobbies include TRAVELING, exploring, hanging out with FRIENDS, meeting new people, going to the MOVIES, playing basketball and beachvolleyball.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far the most amazing country I have seen so far is South Africa. I was amazed by the great variety the country had to offer, in terms of the landscape, cultures as well as the friendly people!
Regarding my passion for music, I have booked flights to far away cities more than once just to see one of my favorite bands play because they wouldn't come to Austria.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
