About Me

CURRENT MISSION

home making and allotment raking

ABOUT ME

I enjoy people, the more I meet from different perspectives, the broader my own character becomes.
I love to cook and bake bread. I guess food is my passion: growing it, cooking it, exploring it culturally and as a conduit to provoke great conversation.
I love landscape, when alone it makes me feel like I belong.
I'd like to celebrate life with as many people from as many cultures as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

"The genuine search for truth opens gaps in darkness and permits the implantation of light.”

If not us, then who?
If not here, then where?
If not now, then when?

Jimmy cliff when asked what he thought of politics: 'well to me it means 'poly' meaning many, more than one and 'ticks' meaning blood sucking parasites'!

I´d rather be a free man in my grave than living like a puppet or a slave´ Jimmy Cliff

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted lots of people in Liverpool, and in Pembrokeshire and I've surfed in Europe and South America. Met some brilliant people through CS.
When you cant go travelling yourself its the next best thing to share in someone else's experience, show them those places you've got to know and love over your time living there, which at first glance would probably be hard to come by.

Interests

Cooking, hiking and camping, samatha meditation, community agriculture, local produce, real ale, campaigning for environment/human rights, learning from people.
