About Me

CURRENT MISSION

never stop learning - and find out what to do next in this journey called life ;)

ABOUT ME

Sometimes quiet, sometimes freaky, depends on my mood ;o). I would say I'm also ready to help, pretty laid back (my mum always says I've got too much of that "just-chill-attitude"^^) and sociable, I am interested in other people, other countries, other languages... Anything I could learn from. I try to get as much out of this life as possible. I think the "small things" in life that make you happy are actually what is worth living for. So I try to absorb every beautiful moment of my life and to store it safely in my mind so I can always come back to it.
I do quite a lot of sports and I love almost every kind of outdoor activities (but my computer, too ;o) I love music, concerts and festivals, my friends and family, the sky, the desert, the sea... and seeing new places of this world...

PHILOSOPHY

You should go through your life with open eyes and ears. For the little things and the beauty of life as well as for the problems of this world.
But nevertheless - don't take life and yourself too seriously ;o) Do your thing no matter what people think as long as it feels right for you. Live for the moment - the good ones and the bad ones, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to meet interesting new people and help to improve understanding and respect and to reduce prejudices.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I surfed a few times in Austria, which was great! Met with a girl who showed me around the city in Seville, and hosted my/our first surfer in Oradea. Only great experience so far =)

Interests

All kinds of fun activities, sense or nonsense, sports and music. Philosophising about the world and everything in and on it. Snowboarding and boxing are my sports passions =) From time to time I do others like climbing, mountain hiking, jogging or swimming, too.
I love travelling, especially with friends. Having fun with friends, going to concerts and festivals, watching movies & series, chilling in parks and beautiful locations and that kind of stuff... Actually there is almost no outdoor or sports activity I wouldn't give a try ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: indie, alternative, stoner rock, folk/country/blues, punk(rock) and ska; but also some hip hop, some electro, some reggae... and all of this mixed together ;) Well, pretty much and different things actually.

Books: I love adventure books and much of the classics like Jack London, Jules Verne; Scott O'Dell, T.C. Boyle are among my favorites. I read mostly novels that tell an interesting story that gives you some lessons to think about.

Movie favourites: Lock, stock and two smoking barrels; Sterben für Anfänger; The Green Mile; Das Leben ist schön; The English Patient; And mystery/horror/action series like Lost, Heroes, Supernatural.
When I watch TV it's mostly comedy like Big Bang Theory, How I met your mother, etc., shows like Jackass, Nitro Circus, well that kind of funny action stuff^^ But also some interesting documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- being able to sleep on a beach and watch the sunrise almost every night for 4 months straight, with that special person next to you
- dancing like crazy and without a care in a huge thunderstorm at a Deadmau5 concert
- some more "magic concert moments" with Tool, Rage Against The Machine and System of A Down
-standing on my first 3000m mountain where I climbed/hiked up myself; but even by the cable car...the view from the top of a mountain just gives you peace of mind, I love it!

Teach, Learn, Share

Could teach you a bit of snowboarding, boxing and climbing. And some German of course.
I like to listen to other people's experiences and stories and I like languages, so feel free to teach me ;)
I also want to learn to play guitar (better), so guitar players (and musicians of any kind) welcome ;)
