ABOUT ME

If there is something to be seen or done, I want to try it. I would hate to live my life wondering what I missed. So I will do anything on a whim. I'm always up for an adventure. I got into cars with strangers when I was a young kid (man was that dumb!), and just love not knowing what is around the next corner.

Do what you can now. Try to live with no regrets. Try everything, anywhere you can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

ummmm, if anyone wants a TRAVEL PARTNER to anywhere I am up for it. I'm no good at languages, but I will eat ANYTHING that's served to me. Life is too short to watch TV. Any story that utilises the phrase "I don't know how I made it out of there alive" is one worth re-telling, or trying to experience again.

Surfing, Skiing, White water Rafting, Snorkeling in the Caribbean and in the South China Sea, Scuba Diving, Paragliding, Single prop planes, Glider rides through the Mountains of Hawaii, piking up stray dogs, being in the crossfire of a drive by shooting in Clark Park, West Philly, Snowboarding, Drag Racing, sketching on icy hills in the winter, fishing, tattoos, DIY, its all pretty varied.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Tom Waits, White Stripes, Pink Floyd, old Delta Blues from back in the day, AC-DC, and just about every PUNK, OI!, STREETPUNK song ever made.

Books - I love adventure stories especially Jack London. And anything Bizarre. Feral Children, gun running tales, French Sociology, viking Sagas, Vonnegut, Burroughs, and Calvin & Hobbes.

Movies - I've seen about every film from the 70's to today. Lately though a lot of Film Noir and asain stuff. The Ones I can watch over and over again though are Fight Club, Yojimbo, Se7en, T2, Super Troopers, Wait Untill Dark, The Maltese Falcon

Caught a 9'4" sailfish off Alcopolco when I was 10.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning survivalist-type skills. I brew my own beer, and I am working on building a forge to melt metal in my back yard. I try building computers, but keep failing, and love being around animals. Especially dogs.
