About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Going further North....always further North!!!!

[I am now in the process to move permanently in Berlin. i've been wandering between B-Town by the Spree and Montréal for 5 years. Now I'm settling down. For at least more than 5 years. This is a groundbreaking thing for me. I'm new to this kind of things ;)]

ABOUT ME

The Sébastianis Trembalanumrinarorum is a contagious disease who affects the victim in two different ways:

First of all, the incubation period consists of a small social delay of adaptation where the victim is shy but open to discussion. During this period, the victim smiles and tries to learn as much as possible.

The terminal phasis is ponctuated by long periods of non-stop laughing and incapacity of not dancing around.

The disease usually affects sarcastic people who are not afraid to say what they think!

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly disagree with the present political system and the latent paternalism that transcends our society. I believe in solidarity and the right for one to live his life to the fullest with integrity and free of all kinds of opression.
I don't believe in the established concepts of right and wrong, but yet I still look at life with a big smile and brilliant eyes.

Oh and to be precise and be a little more direct let's do the "ism" list:
-I Like: Sarcasm, Cynicism, Rationalism, Feminism, Inyourfaceism
-I don't like: Racism, Homophobia (let's write Homophobism), Sexism, Heterosexism and most sorts of Nationalism (Quebec Nationalism included)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always talk about CS and tend to spend 9/10 of any conversation on CS explaining that the concept is NOT about F*cking free hosting!
I help people with their profiles and like to attend meetings when I can. My flat (in Montréal) was also home to improvised CS parties.

I want to host as many people as possible! It sure ain't original, but I want to speak and share with everybody out there.....maybe not with evil dwarves though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS made me feel at home in places I wouldn't have notice it could be possible. Local people, local fun and local experiences surpass everything!
We've hosted so much people in Montreal that I could not remember all the names (if you can surf "La Pologne" you'll get caught in the vortex. Just ask my flatmates Gabrielle, Annie, Sara or Laurent. They are linked on my profile) .

Some experiences were only "okay", but a lot of them created new friendships. Never had a bad experience hosting so far and never had a bad experience surfing either.
