ABOUT ME

After graduating, I tried a regular desk job back home in America butI was bored out of my mind and decided to figure out how to do what I always wanted...travel. So, I have begun completing my work and holiday visas. I have been to the UK and am finishing up NZ as we speak. Next stop is Australia! I am very personable, fun, and creative and seek the same in other people. I love to meeting new people from all over the world! All of my friends back home have attachments and obligations but I'm out on my own!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first surfed in 2007. CS was not very well known then. It was an amazing experience and I remember friends and family just couldn't believe the faith and trust required for this community but it works! It has changed quite a bit now and almost seems like some are only on here for a dating site but I have not had a bad experience yet! Once done traveling or settled into one place for more than 3 months at a time and I can open up my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed for the first time in Italy in 2007. Awesome experience! I couch surfed all through Europe and also in my home country, the U.S. It has been a fantastic experience so far and I'm looking forward to more. I also think its great how even when I stay at backpackers I seem to gravitate to fellow cs fers and we become instant friends:)

Intereses

A lot...good food, good music, good convo, good people! I love a good wine tasting or a great pint in a pub:)
I enjoy water sports and boats! The ocean is my greatest love!
I am into pilates and yoga. I am open to all dance/art/music/cooking classes and love discovering new music.

Florence and the Machine, MUSE,Weezer,u2, billy holiday, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Kate Nash,Cake..almost all music really.

Really enjoy books about traveling. Always enjoy Bill Bryson books. I really like crosswords and my favorite game is Scrabble. "The Prophet" by Khalil Gibran is a good one that my dad had bought for my mother when they first met and she then gave it to me.

I LOVE LOVE movies. Everything from Anchorman to the Diving Bell and the Butterfly.

Most recently, I just climbed the 13k Fox Glacier here in NZ. How awesome! Went through tunnels and ice caves.
I have plans to get certified in scuba diving, skydive more than 15,000 ft, swim with sharks, take a fencing lesson, rock climb, oh man I could go on and on..

It is true that you learn something new everyday. I love that this is true. And the more people you meet the more fulfilled you become.

I feel good about the fact that numerous people over the years have literally told me that meeting me has changed their life in some way. Normally, I inspire stationary people to get out there an explore. There is a big world out there!

I can cook pretty well and love creating a delicious feed or a picnic for others. I enjoy being quite the hostess.

I would like to know more languages and instruments so if anyone is offering..!
