About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just living life, one day at a time.

ABOUT ME

I'm 32 years old and currently living in fabulous Las Vegas.

I enjoy traveling back and forth on the the East Coast of the US. I do enjoy good food and a beer or two and meeting new people. I'm extremely into history, urban exploration and random adventures.

I enjoy life, and no matter how bad things get, I try to look on the positive side.

PHILOSOPHY

"The brick walls are there for a reason: they let us prove how badly we want things.....Experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted.” - Dr. Randy Pausch

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone; close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space. If you analyse it as you're moving forward, you'll never fall in the same trap twice, which I can't say that I haven't been guilty of doing." - Johnny Cash

"If you don't try out new things, you don't go anywhere." - Christoph Schnieder

"Don't fight a battle if you don't gain anything by winning." - Erwin Rommel

"You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your f*cking khakis. We are the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world." - Tyler Durden "Fight Club"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't know how I'll participate, I just want to meet new people amongst my adventures. The area I live doesn't have the nicest people, so I'm hoping to branch out to people from across different areas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has introduced me to all sorts of people. My trip to Germany was memorable and I got to meet very nice people in Berlin. I was lucky to be hosted by a nice Couchsurfer and shown around by various members of the community. I hope I can do the same for those who come to Boston.

Interests

Las Vegas, Urban Exploration, Sleeping, anything to do with History (Especially WWII related), German culture, the beliefs that others have and why, working out, economics, reading, jogging the beach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

United States Navy, travelling in the Dominican Republic/Puerto Rico/St. Thomas, finding my way back to God, realizing that education is nessicary to succeed in this world we live in, and to not believe everything you hear and see on the television/radio/internet. Open your eyes and question things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've read so many books on WWII and various autobiographies on history that I could probably teach people alot of trivia regarding the past and hopefully vice-versa.

I love learning useless facts about people and periods time.

Countries I’ve Visited

Dominican Republic, Germany, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Countries I’ve Lived In
