CS addict! participate in CS events every where I go, surf when I travel if possible and host when available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had many land on my sofa and have landed on many sofas in my lifetime! and at the moment, a true gypsy:) my first real sleep~over was age 7 @ ~aunt Audrey's who loved to play dress up and pretend we were exotic dancers traveling the world... I believe this is a nice way to connect people around the world, CouchSurfing or exotic dancing.

Interesses

Finished designing my board game this winter while on retreat in the Netherlands and looking for a manufacturing company!!! I like to write and working on two Screenplays, Masquerade Macabre and Cockfight! a sort of love story; a novel, 33*1/3; also, a really quirky cookbook, 99 Uses for a Half Dead Body; a board game about traveling, Odyssey of the Seven Seas; and a book of poetry, Twisted Poet Trees:

d'Mirror

Snowflake melting on my tongue
Heartbeart fading in my blood
His breath on my skin...
Time runs out on the oddest moments.

Left alone, the long dark night of my soul
a tireless winter wind blowing thru me
much time wasted on the obvious...
Objects in d'mirror are closer than they appear.

And in a flash, they become distant memories
the liquid echoes of our souls...
slipping thru each other in d'mirror.

I barely knew him
I miss him dearly
I loved him completely.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I cannot imagine life without music, particularly Rock, or any voice that is deep, soulful, sexy... I see a story in everything, wish I could write them all yet I always get distracted with the next story before finishing the present! books that tell good stories while enlightening or otherwise expanding a horizon... and I love film, special effects and animation are fun but mainstream Hollywood bores me... foreign films, particularly French films are my favs. I thought Amelie was fantastic! All time fav is Hungarian, Ildiko Enyedi's My Twentieth Century.
Also, I am working on my first novel, Cockfight, a sort of love story which takes place predominantly in my surrogate home, Nijmegen.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Done: I climbed a mountain impromptu, a Rocky Mtn, with my daughter. Seen: I toured the archeological excavation site of a 5,000 yr old civilization (some say it could have been Atlantis)that lies beneath the present civilization on the Greek island of Santorini... and then rode the island's famous donkeys down the treacherous cliffs with reckless abandon!!! after a little ouzo, of course... Opa!!! it truly was an amazing day in the life:)

I have been thru the school of hard knocks for sure yet I have always maintained a brilliant sense of humor which has seen me thru my darkest hours, that and a hot chocolat or glass of champagne truly cures all... but for certain, if you can look at all things with a sense of awe, that life is so mysteriously wonderful and always worth looking for the silver linings... who knows, you may even find a pot of gold under your rainbow.
