ABOUT ME

I'm 29, grew up in a small village in the countryside and have been living in Vienna since my studies. I am a full-time teacher at a high school in Vienna. I don't want to give up student life completely yet, so I've decided to do a PhD in English. I love travelling, foreign languages, meeting new people, being outdoors, and cats (although sadly, I don't have one in my flat in Vienna!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All extremely positive! I feel really lucky to have met so many incredibly nice people who went out of their way to make me feel welcome/as if we'd been friends forever when I was travelling with friends or alone (of course, I felt even luckier when I was travelling on my own!). This is why I want to 'give something back', by helping fellow couchsurfers to have a great time during their stay in my home city of Vienna, too. Unfortunately, I'm very busy during the week and don't have much time to show you around, but can give you tips on places to go and things to do.

Couchsurfing proves that the following saying can be true even nowadays: "There are no strangers, only friends you haven't met yet."
