ABOUT ME

I have two grown children, an adult granddaughter (Naval Officer) who made me a Great Grandmother with the birth of her daughter in February and two young (15 and 17 years old) grandchildren who live in Norway. I have had many different occupations, the best being 13 years in the travel industry. I love to travel, by any means. My dream is to cruise on a small ship for months at a time when I win the lottery (must remember to buy a ticket).

I now have a wonderful dog that I rescued from a shelter. She is lovable and a great companion. I call her my velcro dog as she sticks to me like that product. She does bark when someone comes to the door but calms down when she realizes that you aren't evil. Since the original post my Mindy is no longer with me. Almost a year ago I got a new rescue, he is a small Yorkie mix, also barks!

I had hosted while living in NM but no longer have space. I have missed meeting and enjoying the travelers I used to have.

My favorite movies are "Chick Flicks" i.e., "Somewhere in Time", "Bridges of Madison County", etc. I'm an incurable romantic. Like most music, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli and Reba McEntire are favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam with the jelly fish in Jellyfish Lake on the Island of Palau in the Pacific.
