***Personalized requests and families will be prioritized****

Hello everybody!

We are a family of four: Manuela, Lahcen, Anir-Gabriel and little Zeno.
Manuela, born in Canada from German and Brazilian immigrant parents, is a homeschooling mom and has just graduated as a Homeopath/Naturopath :) Lahcen, a Berber from Morocco, has been helping immigrants integrate canadian society for years and now works helping people living on the spectrum or with different intelectual abilities integrate the work. Anir-Gabriel is a self proclaimed gamer and is full of life and energy. Zeno loves going outside and exploring new places.

As humans we are all very friendly and outgoing people, laid back, open-minded and have a positive attitude and that is why we look to meet the same type of people on couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

respect the planet, respect one another, respect ourselves, communicate, share, love, have compassion, be creative, learn from the hard times, have faith in life, cherish the little things

Music, Movies, and Books

La Belle Verte (movie, must see!)
Pierre Rahbi (our inspiration :)
Curious George (this is the way we raise Anir-Gabriel :)
LOVE MUSIC but we LOVE silence too :-)
Too many, don't know where to start or end

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing this that Anir-Gabriel has done is travel to three continents and many planes, trains, buses all before the age of 2. He is now learning to master language and singing Happy Birthday :)

One amazing thing Manuela has done is teach herself how to make a documentary film with almost no budget. This experience helped her grow as a person and discover that anything is possible when you put your mind to it. She traveled to three countries: Brazil, Argentina and Mali. She also interviewed some amazing people like Riccardo Petrella, Maude Barlow, Mama Coulibaly to just mention a few. The documentary was about the World Social Forum and it helped her get in touch with people from around the world that are involved in all kinds of social or environmental projects , big or small, that improves peoples and the planets everyday life. One amazing thing that Lahcen did is start a cultural and social orgnization in his village. This organization was able to give free health care workshops to the woemn as well as help them to learn to read and write. Another thing that was acheived was the promotion of the berber culture, language and history! The whole village ended up getting involved and having a great experience. Amazing what people can when they work together!
