About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Me encanta explorar nuevas culturas, lugares, actividades, idiomas, geografías y filosofías.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a traveler now, not a tourist! As I travel I want to know the people, their culture and ways of life, their languages, foods, arts, and thoughts and wisdom.

Above all I want to connect and share life with people, to make friends and help them understand the world around them as much as they help me to do the same. I want to learn Spanish and can teach English to those who want to improve their English.

My former careers have been in information systems development and design, property development and marketing management. I can help with these too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Berlin, Colombia, Bulgaria and Argentina...

This Couchsurfing phenomenon; when you are lucky enough to hook up with some kindred human beings is a powerful force for making friends and a place for yourself in the world.

A totally positive experience.

Interests

People.
Travel...slow travelling...overland journeys..especially cycling, and by train

When travelling I want to share & experience life as lived by the people there, to communicate and commune with them, learn their customs, their language, their food, their thoughts, ideas and attitudes

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list, open to all literature especially Russian, Japanese, Indian, Arabic, German, American French and Spanish.

Musically I'm a baby boomer so its rock, rock and more rock (+ classical of every sort)

Att. Dalai Lama

Someone asked:
What surprises you most about humanity?
And he said:
Men ... lose their health to make money.
Then lose their money to restore their health.
And by thinking anxiously about the future, they do not enjoy today, and so do not live either in the present or the future.
And live as if they will never die ...
And die as though they had never lived.
Att. Dalai Lama
