About Me
AUGUST 18, 2023 Update:
I AM CURRENTLY NOT HOSTING OVERNIGHT GUESTS, BUT I AM A GERAT DAY HOST! IF YOU WANT TO GO FOR A WALK, A BIKE RIDE (I HAVE TWO BIKES!), OR HAVE A COFFEE/TEA, I AM A GREAT GUIDE AND I LOVE SHARING MY CITY WITH TRAVELLERS.
NOT AVAILABLE FOR DAY HOSTING AUGUST 18-27TH.
ABOUT ME
Check out these links with great reasons to come to Vancouver!

My priority in hosting is first to TRAVELLERS, not to those moving to Vancouver or are here to study, attend a festival or conference. I also prefer not to host guests for one night as that's hardly enough time to get to know you.
As I host alot of people (also through Servas International, Hospitality Club and sometimes Air B+B) the best guests for me are those that are not just looking for a "free place to stay", but those that actually want to connect with the people, places and culture of the city.
Check out the groups I am a member of, they tell a little more about me. (I hope you have joined some groups as well!)
Please be interesting! Tell me something interesting about yourself, or what you plan to see in Vancouver, or something that might of been interesting in my profile. I have been doing this for awhile now and really like to meet people who have made an effort in sending a couch request.
If you are too busy to meet up for a drink while you are here - best to email someone else. I really enjoy spending time with guests. Also couples - I welcome you, but I don't just want to be a third wheel.
Please include your favorite colour in your request, and I will know you have actually read my profile.
P.S. If you do not have a picture, or information about yourself in your profile, please don't be surprised if I don't respond to your request.
PHILOSOPHY
To thine own self be true! - Shakespeare

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCH SURFING
Over 20 years - of being a host and a surfer (with this an other organizations)!
I participate mostly as a host but have also had a great many experiences staying with awesome hosts. I also am a huge fan, and active promoter of couchsurfing as I just think it's amazing to meet, stay and host people internationally. TRULY I believe the world would be a better place if we stayed in each others homes.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I think I can call myself a "vetran" couchsurfer now both as a host and a traveller. I stopped counting how many times I have hosted or been hosted. Every time I do it feels like a first time for me.
Interests
Walking in nature.
Journal + creative writing.
Sitting in coffee houses reading + writing.
Drinking craft beers + red wine.
Performing Arts (Theatre, Musical Theatre, Opera, Music).
Sitting on my balcony listening as the world passes by.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I couchsurfed once in a tiny one room flat with someone. My host seemed to have very little to offer in the way of space, or time to spend with me - BUT they were so very accomodating, willing to fit in time for a botte of wine, and said "my home is your home". I was so deeply touched by my hosts graciousness that I decided to adopt the same approach with my own guests.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing the city with people. It gives me great joy to be tour guide when I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
