It's been a decade of life on the road. I'm somewhat of a recovering backpacker-digital nomad-vagabonding tantric yogi. I’ve experienced many walks of life and have encountered even more.

Professionally, I am a traveling social entrepreneur, filmmaker, and web designer. My self-made "career" has developed itself purely from a life of travel that has helped me explore my passions and understand more who I am past the programmatic layers of culture.

I exchange my videography services to charities, low budget organizations, and individuals with causes so their stories may be broadcasted to the world on a platform we call PRCPTION Travel (https://www.perceptiontravel.tv)

Artistically, as of early 2017 I’ve just released my first film (a travelogue in Nepal), self-published my first book of travel memoirs (living in Bangkok), and am writing my first album (new age country music). I play lots of guitar, accordion, and piano.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life is the etching away of culture's monochromatic paint job to unveil the colorful masterpiece of who we truly are. I love meeting new people, I thrive off human connection in all forms. I was around CS in its haydays (cerca 2008-2012) and despite being a little disappointed over its leadership/management over the past few years, I still believe in its core community members.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in a jam session in Nepal with a camera rolling when the 2015 earthquake hit. It turned into a film about the grassroots relief efforts--a global community coming together to support one another--and long story short it spawned my "purpose of life" thing.
