ABOUT ME

Hello everyone! I'm Megan. Currently residing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I am a lover of live music, snowboarding, dogs, cooking, vinyl, thrift stores, craft beer and inspirational bathroom stall graffiti.

PHILOSOPHY

I hesitate to say that I've gotten any wiser, but the older I've gotten the more I have realized that life isn't a collection of things, but rather, a collection of experiences. I am aiming to make the most of my time by adding to these experiences, and what better way than with like minded people?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

From sleeping on an air mattress in an art warehouse in Brooklyn to a houseboat on Vancouver Island, Couch Surfing has lead me to some amazing people and unforgettable experiences. I love the feeling of community amongst the travelers I've met, and of course, all the local insight that you can't find in a guide book!

Music, Movies, and Books

There certainly isn't enough room here to delve into my musical tastes, that may be something better discussed over a pint. Suffice to say that I am a music festival junkie and spend a lot of time attending concerts! I listen to everything from 50's swing to rock to punk to hip hop to synth pop, but ska really has my heart!
