About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be worldy, live freely, breathe, escape the American bubble, eat cheese, and drink wine all over the world...

ABOUT ME

I am red-headed, left-handed, a woman, and american.. Anywhere I go in the world someone will be against me! haha! .. but i'm okay with that. I love life and try to appreciate the ups and downs of it all. Life is a challengebut it keeps things interesting. I find serenity by going against reality. I like to break free from the pressures of society .. by jumping off a high cliff Or leaping from a perfectly good airplane. I'm laid back and simple.. taking it all in a little bit at a time. If I ever decided to settle down, I think I would like to live in the countryside.
I don't find happiness in todays new wave technologies, but i do in a good cup of coffee and a book. It's hard for me to keep up with the world... and it's constant changes. I wish I was born in the 50's or 60's when we didn't know and didn't care about everything being harmful to our health, music was a lifestyle, and women started wearing pants.
My favorite and worst time of the day is usually around 4am when my 16lb cat decides to jump on my chest, knead into me with his nails, whisper sweet purrs into my ear, and then run away. Leaving me in pain, startled, but blissfully happy. Because during the day he pretends he doesn't care. (Yes, I will be a crazy cat lady when I am old)

PHILOSOPHY

Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards.
If you reject the food, ignore the customs, fear the religion and avoid the people, you might better stay home. ~James Michener

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sharing my experiences, lending advice to fellow travelers, opening my door to people on the road...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed on my first couch (floor) in KL, Malaysia. It was a very nice experience and met some other couch surfers while I was at it. I really enjoyed getting out of the main city and seeing a regular malay household. Now I'm in search of further couches although they're hard to come by.

Interests

I'm a workaholic. My whole life could be a disaster, but I'm always on time for work. I love keeping busy. I don't have time for hobbies because I can never dedicate myself to one thing for a long enough period of time. I do love animals- I worked at a zoo for a number of years, on a farm for a few months, in a petting zoo for 6 months, and on and off at a veterinary hospital for the past 6 years.
I love drinking the fire.
In my youth I was a champion. Now I'm a turtle.
I'm obsessed with making a perfect cup of coffee.
I'll drive anywhere.
I fell in love with Guitar hero, after only playing it once.
I whistle when I walk down the street, hum to myself when I'm happy, and smile during thunderstorms.

Teach, Learn, Share

The difference between being involved and being commited.. Is like ham and eggs..

The pig's commited but the chicken is only involved.
