ABOUT ME

Hi folks. I'm Daniel from Cologne and i grew up in the city of Germanys biggest Carnival festival. I'm proud to be grown up in a multi-cultural family having Montenegrin and German Blood. I enjoy both cultures and try to get the best parts out of it.
I travelled Southeast Europe (the Balkan) a thousand times and especially in MY lovely and adored small country Montenegro. I just LOVE it there. You don't know Montenegro..oh no wonder. If you plan to go there prepare for beautiful landscapes, a lot of history and a lot of turkish coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm participating for usual in CS meetings in Cologne or in cities where i am travelling. Not that often, but sometimes i just want to get to know to new people and to share meanings.
Now where i am in Canada for a longer time, i try to couchsurf a lot i enjoy it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just hosted once in my rooms and i was hosted now a several times. I made GREAT experiences in Canada as i travelled Canada for 6 Months and i hope this will continue..

Interests

Drinking Coffee, Watching people, Playing football, Basketball, Driving my Motorcycle. Going out..especially on Balkan/Gypsy Music-Parties! Photography, Meeting friends, Good Food, History,
Can somebody teach me drving a boat? - No need for that anymore. Now i know how to do it :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't like big Hollywood Blockbusters with Chasing Cars and all-time gun Fighting-Suff. I love the ones which are "smaller" and showing something about someones life and telling a REAL story.

What kind of music i'm listening to: There is a lot stuff to listen for. I'm not just listen for one kind of music. It's a mix between everything. Just good World-Music. But what i have to say is: I don't really like Hip-Hop Music.
Normally i'm listening for Alternative Rock Music/ Ska Music. But i like Elektro Music in clubs as well.
I love Gypsy-Balkan Music with dancing to the dawn.
But i can listen for African Music as well. So it just depends on my mood.
