ABOUT ME
I did the usual go to school, graduate with a degree, put on my cardboard hat and rolled up piece of paper thing. I was 21 years old and hadn't known any home outside of Vancouver, BC.
Then I took a job in Costa Rica working for an internet startup. I was there for three years and then quit to play poker for a living and travel around and live in different places. In addition to Costa Rica, I've also spent significant time in Las Vegas, Sydney, and Hong Kong.
Most of my days are spent training martial arts now and just generally being active. But I still travel a ton and visit with friends, and love to experience new neighbourhoods.
Interests
Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai boxing, western boxing, wrestling, combat sports in general.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favourite movies include: The Professional, American Beauty, V for Vendetta, Rounders, Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, and the first two Terminators.
I like reading about 20th century history, especially in Europe.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I watched my home country's ice hockey team win gold at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. I was 40 feet from the game-winning goal, and I saw an entire city in celebration from the afternoon until 2 AM.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could perhaps teach some basic self-defence/hand-to-hand combat skills.
I speak passable Spanish and have a reasonable understanding of its grammatical structure.
I know a little bit of Thai massage.
