About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to do it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ABOUT ME

What to say? I consider myself fun loving, outgoing, and laid back. I love traveling and meeting new people. My favorite thing is having people over and I believe the more the merrier!! I enjoying hosting or just meeting new people.

I think living overseas in Taiwan is the most amazing and wonderful adventure. And I am always up for a good adventure. Before Taiwan I was living in South Korea for a year and a half and then traveled the world for seven months, doing Southeast Asia, the Trans-Siberian, and Eastern Europe. I am now on a indefinite journey though South America.

PHILOSOPHY

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body - but rather to skid in sideways, a walking stick in one hand and champagne in the other, body throughly used up and totally worn out, screaming YEAH BABY! What a ride!"

I love this quote. I believe in Living life passionately and to the fullest. You only live once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It’s been quite a while since I posted. But I am gonna start trying again I think.

Please don’t send me a farm request. Tell me about yourself, why you want to stay make me want to host you.!!

I have had some awesome surfing experiences in Moscow, Krakow, Warsaw, Budapest, Athens, Canada, Thailand. I really really love couchsurfing. I think it is the most amazing idea - and it really works!! I have met so many people and enriched my travel. My parents have been hosting through me as well and have loved it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best way to understand a new place is by getting to know people who live there. I have enjoyed all my surfing and hosting experiences. I had a blast hosting with my roommates in Taiwan, who are also couchsurfers. In fact they started out as surfers and ended up moving in!

I have had the opportunity to have surfers from all over the world at my apartment and it has been great!

Interests

Reading, traveling, cooking, wine, hiking, biking, rock climbing, socializing, scuba diving. Pretty much anything outdoors, or adventurous.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read. Devour books. I am always up for a good book suggestion. Princess Bride is my all time favorite movie. And I love music. Ipods are a great invention.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee Jumping! Zip line in Costa Rica and Panama. Scuba Diving in Honduras and Borneo. Being ship wrecked in the Philippines. Nearly getting arrested for breaking into an abandoned amusement park in the US. Fireworks festival, Taiwan. Oh and I finally counted I have been to exactly 53 countries - if you count peeing in Albania and a layover in New Zealand. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting everyone. Each person I meet has a story or something I can learn from them. It is awesome to meet someone new and just connect or to find out what you have in common. I do prefer people who like to talk. :) Makes conversation easier. Especially if they have some good stories or adventures to share.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Cambodia, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Italy, Japan, Panama, Thailand, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
