About Me

I'm Sonesh Prakash, a passionate traveler hailing from the bustling city of Mumbai. Having been born and raised here, I've come to appreciate the diversity and energy that this maximum city offers. While I call Mumbai my home, I have a burning desire to explore the world and immerse myself in different cultures.

Professionally, I've spent the last 14 years working in sales and marketing roles. However, in October 2014, I embarked on an exciting entrepreneurial journey. Since then, I've been fortunate to consult with startups and small businesses, helping them navigate the world of marketing. But that's not all that defines me. My true passions lie in traveling, reading, writing, and meeting fascinating individuals from all walks of life.

At heart, I'm a simple guy who leads an austere lifestyle. I consider myself a backpacker, always ready to hit the road with nothing but my essentials. Writing has always been a creative outlet for me, and I enjoy crafting photo poetry and quotes that reflect my experiences. If you'd like a glimpse into my poetic musings, you can find them on my Instagram profile at www.instagram.com/soneshprakash.

While I'm not one to seek out parties, I'm always up for engaging events like stand-up comedy shows, plays, movies, and poetry nights. I thrive on curiosity and love engaging in deep conversations during leisurely walks. Public transportation is my preferred mode of getting around, as it allows me to truly experience the pulse of a city.

My ultimate goal is to design a lifestyle that allows me to become a digital nomad. During my formative years, I didn't have many opportunities to travel, which has only fueled my passion for exploring the world now. I aspire to backpack across different continents, savoring the best street vegetarian food, collaborating with groundbreaking startups, and strolling along the most captivating walking paths this planet has to offer.

If you share my love for travel, cultural exchange, and connecting with like-minded individuals, I would be thrilled to connect with you. Let's create unforgettable memories together and make the most of this beautiful world we live in.

Looking forward to our paths crossing on this incredible journey!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would love to show around couchsurfing tourists in Mumbai. Also, make a few friends in the bargain. I have been lucky enough to be hosted by lot of CSers in India and all of them have added something to my life. In return, I have gatecrashed weddings with them, made a personalized sketch for them, written poetry for them and also helped them in growing their business :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I live with my parents and relatives keep pouring in, I may not be able to host at short notice

Have been to CS meets in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Pondicherry and have met some really interesting people.
