I am a Couchsurfer since 1.1.2008 - it made an impact on my life, during the years I met so much awesome people via this platform. Therefore I can say I am a huge CS Fan and advocate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All great adventures start with my favorite quote: "Bad decisions make great stories" ...

Sailed on a 82" Catamaran from the Maldives to Phuket. A 18 day adventure, with an amazing crew, but lots of challenges along the way (eg. got caught by the coastguard at Nicobar Islands and held for 5 days).

Took a ride with the Transsiberian Railway from Moscow to Beijing.

Got lost on a 4 Wheel tour to the Gobi Dessert in Mongolia and got sick while all that happend.

Hiking in middle Norway, it was raining all day long - awesome, well actually at the time we where hiking we did not see it this positive ;)

Worked at a refugee home for a year (civil service) - great experience

I love things that appear to be unplanned, surprising and bad at the first moment, but turn out to be an unforgettable moment in life.

I have 10 years of experience as an entrepreneur - eg. I failed a lot, I struggled a lot, I worked way to much - but I learned a lot. With my current company we are currently on our way out of the "valley of death" and operate cash-flow positive - after some hard years.

At the same time I am a strong believer in lean startups philosophy, remote working, digital nomadism and in business models that are not "billion dollar" ideas, but smart and good enough to generate (almost) automated income for yourself without the hassle of daily work.
