ABOUT ME

I hate saying anything about me, just read my references, but i could just start with my name, Francisco and Django is my dog, i am a couchsurfer for several years and host so many people in Barcelona, here in Madrid i can't host.

I am friendly and easy going, i like to talk and share things with the people and help if i can.

PHILOSOPHY

Live every day, try to understand and enjoy the life, meet people, learn things.

In one phrase: "i try to live my life with the foot deep on the gas"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to make the idea of CS reality, by my own experience i know how complicate is been new in a new city, how hard is to meet new people with the same ideas and life style, so i try to make events where the couchsurfers, the travelers, the locals and over all the new people on the town could feel like in family.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled around Germany, Netherlands and France met incredible really incredible people and hosted so many people too. It is always a beautiful experience, sometimes i will meet people to drink something.

Interests

Travel, of course, design and arts, good wines and shitty colas, walking in the street without stepping on the lines, the beach, shirts, my work, growing up and being a child.... anything (i hate this questions)

Music, Movies, and Books

This could be long..... movies: All the Guy Richie films and Terry Guilliam, Coen Brothers.... Long, long, long, looooooooong list.

Music: Colombian music mixed with electronic or rock (is my favorite) electronic in general, from cassius till vitalic or fishespooner.

Books: beat generation and magic realism, one hundred of solitude, On the road, Howl, Stephen king, Jose Saramago....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When i was 21 i travel all around Colombia with just a sleeping bag, plastic pot and a spoon, so far on couchsurfing, learning about my country, without money, i found beautiful and hards things. Sleeping in the streets, beaches, and found friends everywhere.
aahhh!! the plastic pot was to ask for food in the restaurants.

Teach, Learn, Share

In the old culture all the knowledge was teaching and learning how to talk. I learn listening to people, i have too much to learn and maybe i can teach something, these things happen.
