About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Calling people to claim their awesomeness!

ABOUT ME

I am empowered to help others succeed!

I will start with what I am passionate about. Given the choice of studies now I am studying Spanish, Chinese, Writing, Sales and Marketing, Professional Speaking, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. One should always remain a student of whatever their calling is.

I walk with God. I'm not about the mainstream religion thing that a lot of people do. I love exploring new cultures, locations, and languages. Rosetta Stone and Mango Languages are my friends.

The one thing that I want to impart to the world is that the world is as ugly or as beautiful as you think it is. I have a wealth of knowledge to share and exchange from my travels and from my day-to-day experiences.

Words my friends have used to describe me: unique, crazy, opinionated, nonchalant, and quiet strength.

PHILOSOPHY

"I shall pass this way but once. Therefore, any good that I can do or any kindness that I can show, let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again."
-William Penn

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Daring and sharing whatever I can. Meeting up with other CSers to discuss travels/plan events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Okay so I Couchsurfed with this chick Jessica in Jacksonville, FL. It was like last minute and everything. She had this sweet two story condo on the beach and a private guest room. I was so not ready for that. So she provided a bed, private bathroom, and organic food instead of just a couch. She even invited me out dancing with her. Woulda went, but I was there "on business" so it was just fabulous. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. I felt right at home:)

Couchsurfing is one of the best social networks for me because it draws a lot of people that are rebels, not quite mainstream society. My best experiences have been with just meeting up with people for coffee or a drink.

I had another last minute couch request experience in December of 2010. I was supposed to be staying with my student in Taichung, Taiwan, but her family made vacation plans, so that went out the window. I sent out like 20 requests and 3 people had responded to me within the next 3 hours. It was Awe-some! I'm terrified of hostels (blame it on the movies). Probably shouldn't be, but I rather stay with CSers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Humphrey's Peak in a couple of hours before work in Flagstaff, Arizona. The most amazing things I've seen are the eyes of my lover.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can contribute knowledge on the beautiful National Parks, and few hot spots in Florida, and some advice before traveling overseas.

I want to learn Mandarin, German, and Japanese before I die.
