About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be grateful for what I have, DREAM BIG, and Let GO

ABOUT ME

I practice yoga, tai chi, dancing and making friends from around the world. I run a nonprofit organization named http://www.decemberofdreams.org. We provide poor Nicaraguan children their first toys and school supplies. We are always looking for volunteers who want to help us grow the organization and travel with us to hand deliver the supplies.

I'm a visionary, a holistic thinker (see bigger picture in life and how it affects people, bring things/people together), Inquisitive, dedicated, Sweet, thoughtful, value harmony and cooperation, sociable, personable, expressive and persuasive, enterprising, love to teach and learn, impulsive, social, reserved, quirky, sane, democrat, reasonable,to-the-point, careful, self-assured, arguable, agreeable, heterosexual, open-minded, hard-working, concerned, working on being easy-going, an all-around box of chocolates... sweet all over without any heart clogging residue.

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others as you would like them do unto you. I also am learning to take life as it comes. This same lesson I received from my best friend, my ex-girl friend, and my current boss. Although it is hard to let God and let go, letting go is important to live life in the NOW, in the present happy and joyous. I don't have all the answers but I know that God has a plan for me to serve him and humanity. One of those ways is through www.decemberofdreams.org

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding a mammoth elephant through Cheng Mai, Thailand on the weekends while helping to rebuild a school in Bangkok was a neat experience. While in Korea I got to see traditional dresses and friendly people. In Italy I visited Rome, Florence, Venice, and looked at Cesar's palace (the real thing.
My most cherished travels are the ones for humanitarian mission to Nicaragua, the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. We hand deliver and mass distribute toys and school supplies to the poorest kids of the country. We also take some time off to go explore the country with its volcanoes, caves, and islands inside a lake inside the country of Nicaragua. We have lots of fun and we bring joy to children.
This will be our 4th year. Visit our site and learn about the wonderful things we do to help third world children www.decemberofdreams.org

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn to how to learn faster (languages, science, everything)

I know you have to engage all your senses but there is Mozart music that affects how you fast you learn and retain information. There are smells that make you remember info but there is so much more to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook delicious dishes like cajun salmon, or lemon pepper chicken among my other dishes. I also can teach my hosts to salsa dance and a little bit of ballroom dancing :)
