About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn as many languages as possible and know more about other contry's history, culture and politics.

ABOUT ME

2008 :I'm a extravagant person who can live anywhere, in any situation. I want to learn as much as possible and pass my life doing it. I want to live a lot of pleasant and unpleasant experiences to understand everything better. I want to have reflections with many people to encounter new opinions and live as freely as possible.

2009 : WOW ! Last time I updated my profile was a year ago. I've change a lot since then ! For archive purpuses I'll leave what I've writtend then. It's gonna be like an open diary. So here's me in 2009.

I found out that I go along very well with the gay community. Not because I'm bicurious ( a good old friend of mine said quite precisily I reckon that I was straight with a very open mind, fair dinkum) or whatever, but simply because there is less discrimination in that community, less judgement. I wouldn't totally call myself an altruist anymore ( though I'd like to) but rather describe like someone who takes the time to think about other. My discrimation barried have been pretty much torn down and therefore I don't understand racism and homophobia very well anymore.

I'm officially on a world tour for the next 10 year or so. I'd love to offer accommodation for people we I settle somewhere but it depend more on where I live rather than on my willingness to do so.

2013 : I've been threw Japan and China where Couchsurf wasn't very accessible. In a way I've realized how much the English internet, Couchsurf included, is very much influenced by occidentals. So to get out of it for such a long time gave me a new perspective on things. Especially in China where Facebook or Youtube is not available.

I can now have conversation in Chinese and Japanese and would love to host people that are not so comfortable with their English Skills :)

PHILOSOPHY

2008 : I change my personal philosophy quite often but I do know that I live to help others in their life and to make the world a better place than the one in witch I was born. I love to rethink about everything which is sometime confusing and painful for my mind.

2009 : Hum, I guess I'm at a stage where extremes are something I don't like anymore. I now try to experiment balance, consensus and stability. I'm at a really intrapersonnal stage of my life where I'm building myself to become more efficient on my own and in my profession. I realize though that's it's very unproductive and senseless in society though. Therefore, I also take a lot of time to keep my human relationship going.

2013 : Well those decisions in 2009 have paid off a little. But I still have a lot of work to do to accomplish my goals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

2008 : I will travel and discuss to everybody I meet. I will wash dishes, groom, cook, and offer help if there is sadness in a room.

2009 : I can cook ! I sure can ! I took a course and that's my profession now. I talk about CS when I have the opportunity and try to create host out of any ratbag with a spare room/bed/space.

2013 : I realize now that I couldn't really cook back then but now I can do some decent stuff. I would love to teach you English or French and for a change I can finally offer a decent couch :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2008 : My first experience was in Scotland and the journey was really great ! Ive went sleeping to my friends house many time, and many friends came sleep to my flats. I know the enjoyable feeling of waking up in somebody else life.

2009 : I tryed to work in the Melbourne community but find myself failing poorly. I'll try to get better in japan.

2013 : I've met lots of people threw many different channels, I've talked about CS to many people but I haven't couch much.

Interests

2008 : Politics and philosophical toughs are taking a lot of my time. I can talk about barely anythings depending on witch subject is being discussed. I listen a lot because I like learning new stuff. I've done some sports and I've learn psychology recently. I have quite a few things to say about this science. I would like to do some research on this same topic when Ill be bigger ( well older ). I know a fair bit about the politicals and historicals events of Canada and especially Québec even if I don't remember the dates it happened.

2009 : I drew a map of me and the 5 predominant aspect of myself were : Epicurian pleasure ( food, body pleasures, odors, beauty, music ), Traveling( cultural discovery) , Economy, politics, and human relationship.

2013 : I haven't change much since 2009. I'm simply more curious about the world and economy. I like to live in different country rather that travel to some places. And I'm trying to be more disciplined about in my life rather than enjoying carelessly Epicurian pleasures.

Music, Movies, and Books

2008 :I love music. Film with good music and musical shows. I like techno music, pink floyd, rock and groups that have a political or philosophical aspect.

2009 : ( in reference to my 2008 interest --- > )Pink Floyd LOL ! Long time no heard about pink floyd. I still love music that carries a message but I also like stuff that's really catchy and that carries memories of good time.

2013 : I'm real busy with my schooling to give much attention to music anymore. I kindda like pop music and stuff that my friends like :P I'm still very in love with movies. I've seen a great numbers of them in the past years mostly Chineses and Japanese. Lots of anime as well :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2008 :Out of the blue, I could not say, but give me a bit of time to know you better and Ill have heaps of stories to tell you.

2009: Going to Australia to plant trees and leaving a year later with an Aussie accent a self confidence and a whole lot of stories.

2013 : Hitchhike from a Tibetan autonomous regions to Chengdu. Learn Japanese and Chinese in 3 years. Cook in the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo. China is quite a amazing scene for resilience and cooperation sometimes.

2008 : Im pretty open to learn anything at the moment so I leave teaching to others.

2009 : NA NA NA ! I have stuff to teach now ! French, English and cooking ! I also love to share anything I know. There is no greatest things to share than knowlegde.
