About Me

CURRENT MISSION

has left the building..

ABOUT ME

i am caroline as it clearly states.

I have just turned 25, it better not be true what they say about "downhill" and "sagging"

I moved back from living in London after 4 1/2 years to Dublin..I lived here before when I was a student and hated it, but I had no money and used to eat pineapple out of a tin for dinner..now I eat beans out of a tin and have even less money, but I'm going travelling very soon so it's not that bad.

I really like living in Dublin now..its a great city, and its soo handy living within ten minutes of the city centre although im still always late..Dublin has come on leaps and bounds since i was a student, the music, the nightlife, the people, the culture, its a great place to be right now!

I live for music, live, recorded, festivals, working in the music industry, selling body parts/my soul for music...

I dont ever leave the house without the following

*my camera
*my phone
*my mp3 player (charged of course)

after that anything is game!

I live in a TINY flat near Vicar St (where I work evenings) with my best friend...hosting a couch would be pointless, unless you want to push together two two-seater couches, I've tried sleeping on them and I'd have to say sleeping in a cold bathtub was more comfortable..but am happy to show you around this glorious city or bring you to good watering holes with even better music...

EDIT; As of 16 June I'm out odf the country gone a travelling..maybe i'll meet you on the road?

PHILOSOPHY

"You can only be young once, but immature forever"
Daniel Johns- Silverchair

"You should have seen that sunrise with your own eyes, it brought me back to life"
3X5- John Mayer

Life is what you make of it, get up of your arse and experience it..don't regret missing out on things, if you want something make it happen..and if it doesnt work out, at least you tried.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, I live, eat, breathe, sleep, dream music..unfortunately i dont play music, but i know alot about it and i go to alot of gigs

if you need a gig going partner, or need help anything music related, just ask..if you need info on venue sizes, where to get tickets for gigs that are sold out, how to get to a venue...just ask..more than happy to help

I'm also in the throws of preparing my around the world trip, leaving June 17th..travelling to North America, Fiji, NZ, Oz and Asia...looking to meet people from all over who have travelled and want to swap stories

I spent my 4 summers in London working at festivals and currently work in Vicar St as part of ongoing work experience, i dont get paid but actually have taken days off to work at the venue, thats how much i love it...crazy? maybe..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

the only couches I've slept on are random peoples parties and friends, maybe these folk were part of the CS community? i cant say for sure, but im certain i'll experience a real "couch surfer" moment in the not so distant future..

oh wait does it help i went to a CS party once. because I did..oh and i've been to many more since..good times, cheap beer and hot men and women, what more could you want?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Glastonbury 2005...I was at it for 6 nights and 5days working..it was the year of the rain, when the campsites got flooded and people were using canoes to get around..where did the canoes come from?

Anyway I remember working in the Dance tent on the Thursday night, the fesitval doesnt start until the Friday night, but there must have been 900 people in the dance tent, all going nuts and taking god knows what..i was stone cold sober, soaked in beer and slushly cocktail drinks but it was one hell of an experience...couldnt have asked for a better time

the mud was horrendous, the rain was relentless, it stopped by the Saturday, the sun came out, I got niced toasted and watched the sun rise from the stone cirlce..it took me a month to get over, but I'll never forget it as long as I live

This is just one simple little thing I've seen or done, I've experienced so many, but thats just one story for now..maybe over a pint you'll hear more :)
