I like to meet to new people! It is fun to see how awesome most people are. I meet people who come from all over the world and yet I find that we all have something in common that drives us to get to know one another and to be friends. I want to enjoy people for who they are not who I think they are or who I want them to be.

PHILOSOPHY

I love people. I think all people should be treated with the dignity that their humanity deserves.

I have hosted and been hosted. I tell everyone I meet about how awesome CS is!
I also try and host people from time to time. I also use CS when I travel to meet locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting awesome people! Whenever I've met or stayed with couchsurfers when I am traveling it has made my trip so much better! In Mulhouse, France CS made my trip memorable, instead of a horrible waste of time. I've met so many amazing people. I've have had the joy of showing some of these travelers my home of Austin, TX.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the Great Wall in China. I sat in the hills of Yangshuo, China and pondered the universe. By learning French I learned a new way of thinking. Learning a language is like learning to see through a different pair of eyes. It is an amazing experience. I visited the prison where Nelson Mandella spent the majority of the 26 years he was incarcerated. I saw the Taj Mahal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about new cultures and new friends that I haven't met yet. I want to share about my culture. Share what I know - I can teach anyone how to make an awesome quiche. I want to learn how to knit and crochet. I want to learn how to make Indian food.
