About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I enjoy life in the mountains of VT where I go hiking, biking, and eat a lot of meat, some of which I grow myself, I also bake bread and cook metric tons of pizza every summer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch surf, offer what I've got, tell all the excellent people about this website.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've learned a lot about traveling and the areas I've surfed in thanks to several wonderful hosts. Wouldn't have been the same without CS.

Interests

baking (sourdough) bread, wild foods, cuisine, simple food, backpacking, being outside, huge puppets, peak oil and global warming, traveling, social justice, beautiful people, growing food as well as dumpstering it, art (I'd like to learn more), dance (learning...), the absurd, reading everything, thinking too much, oberlin, the restaurant industry, duh, food...
Oh yeah! I almost forgot, "peak experiences" and all the other words that are associated with the spirit side of things.

Also, for those not from Oberlin/don't know me, I just realized I assumed everyone would know I was into: communal living/ co-ops, gender-neutral bathrooms, ohio winters, cooking for large numbers of people, and Hipsters.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a good bit about backpacking. I'm a good cook, people even talk about me being a good cook. It amazes me to this day. I love exploring cities and at one point (like age 3-19) swam all the time, so with a little practice on my part I could do some teaching. I love writing letters, especially on a typewriter. It's almost meditative.

I'd like to learn more about: food/herbs as medicine, Dance, art, music, spanish, anything. I'm curious.
