ABOUT ME

I'm a typical German when it comes to work. I try to be perfect at everything and work as hard as possible. At the moment I'm doing an apprenticeship as shipping agent in my hometown. Additionally, I work for an Irish Pub in Hamburg at the weekend. I have two jobs as I'm not a big fan of boringness so I try to keep myself occupied. Besides, I really want to see much more of the world and that usually costs money.

I have spent a year abroad, 7 months in Australia, 2 months in New Zealand and 1 months in Thailand. That was the greatest experience of my life so far.
I would describe myself as friendly, open-minded and usually easy to have. I really enjoy talking to people who have been around the world as well and are willing to share their experience. In fact, I like to drink a beer or two and enjoy a good conversation whether in German or English :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I enjoyed a nice trip to Frankfurt am Main (Germany). I could stay there for several days at the flat of a CS member, called Izabela. Thanks to her for the nice accomodation and the sight-seeing-tours.

Lately, I have been to Florida and spent a couple of days with a nice family in Orlando. The host, jay, was a really nice guy who spend a lot of time showing us around in Orlando.
Also, I went down to the Keys, where me and my friend stayed with a really cool couple. They took us out fishing, which was a great experience.

Lately, I have been to Riga and Tallinn where I had also very great CS-experiences.

Recently I have moved to Hamburg and I will try to participate a bit more in CS activities in my new hometown.

- Flying with a light airplane over the Moreton Island, Queensland.
- Skydive in New Zealand, Taupo. 15000 feet
- Canyon Swing in New Zealand, Queenstown. Most scary thing I have done so far.
- Breakdown of our car on the Australian west coast at night. That was a really crazy experience.
- Crocodile feeding in Darwin.
- Hiking through the jungle of northern Thailand (Chiang Mai)
- Diving the Great Barrier Reef in Australia
- Diving the reefs in southern Thailand (Phuket)
- Roadtrip around Florida

Teach/Share:
I could organise sailing trips for surfers, who are staying at my place
I would like to teach ppl. how to speak German when they are interested in that
I could also teach you how to order a hot dog in Danish :)
I could show you around in Hamburg and introduce you to the great nightlife, people experience here.
