About Me

Hi! I am Franzi. I live in Hamburg, a beautiful city in North Germany, and I love:
*to go out dancing or to concerts
*to laugh, enjoy life and be surrounded by great people
*to cook/bake (v,vg, preferably gf, sometimes raw)
*to discover new cafés, places and spaces in Hamburg
*the Elbe river, being outside, going hiking, traveling

I grew up in an East German village, but my mom is originally from Berlin, so Im a big-city-as well as-countryside kind of hybrid. At the moment I'm enrolled in a training program to become a therapist for children and youth. I finished my MA for Educational Science/Social Work at the University in Hamburg in 2014, and I have been working at an lgbt* youth and community center since 2010. Im a queer-feminist, and I love weight lifting as well as running. oh, I used to live in Ann Arbor, MI for a year after I graduated from high school.

This year my resolutions are to focus on myself, go with the flow, stay away from toxic or negative things or people and let them go, spend more time outside hiking and enjoying the countryside and creating and building strong friendships and take care of the friendships that are making me happy. And since I met some of my good friends through Couchsurfing, I would like to become a little more active again with hosting or at least meeting up with people if I can.
