I like to visit as many friends as I can, meet new people, and learn their languages. I enjoy learning and believe that everything (no matter how sporadic it seems) I study will tie in to the rest.

live to be happy, try new things, and just go for it--there's never enough time or enough money--if it doesn't work out, try something else!

I travel and meet new people through my hosts and surfers and visitors in whichever city I currently live.

Mostly a surfer myself, I look forward to hosting travlers myself soon.

Interests

I'm currently most passionate about music, dancing, reading, and finishing my knitting/sewing projects.

If I have free time, you might find me watching a play or a film, running or playing some other sport, learning a new language, or challenging myself to learn something new (my most recent goals: riding a bike no-handed and teaching myself to play the flute)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three months visiting friends and meeting midwives in Europe in order to learn about birth in different countries and about myself.

I ran the Berlin Marathon in 2007.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some things I can share with those open and interested are my yoga practice, a little bit of music (clarinet), how to learn German:), basic knitting, a few soup recipes....

I'm currently working on learning songs on the guitar, trying to figure out the flute, and trying to improve my skills in the kitchen (soups and cakes are my current goals)
