I love travelling and I want to see everywhere I can. I've travelled alone sometimes and it can be a great experience and a real joy to meet new people, but I think I now prefer to see a new place through the eyes of a local person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can try to at least meet people for a coffee and give some local tips about London and if the timing is right I have a couch. I also like to go to cafe's, galleries, theatre etc. I love exploring London...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I havn't couch surfed on this site but I've certainly slept on friends couches and had friends to stay. It's a great way to get to know a new place and new people and to really experience something new.......

Travel of course, and film, music, reading, Japan. I love to go to gigs and i'm learning Japanese at the moment.

love the diving bell and the butterfly, really excellent film with great use of a Joe Strummer song at the end. I Like a lot of films, don't really like predicatable blockbuster films though. All time favourites includes Kes, Raining Stones, Tokyo Story, Amelie, When the cat's away, The double life of veronique, Dancer in the dark, Alice in the Cities, Paris, Texas and many more.
I love Bjork, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Joe Strummer, Leonard Cohen, M.I.A, Santogold, Joy division. I Love Thomas wolfe, Hunter S. Thompson, Hemingway, Herman Hesse and many other authors.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The Great wall of China was absolutly stunning, I walked it for most of a day and still couldn't believe what I was seeing.
And Grand Canyon is also staggeringly vast. I also went to Zebruskie point in Death Vally, California, apparently one of the hottest places on earth, what struck me was how quiet it was, dead silent and dead still, we and all the other tourists were whispering like we were inside a church or cathedral. That reminds me of te Lion Cafe in Tokyo, it's very hard to find cafe, inside is dark and people sit in pews like in a church and a DJ plays classical music. No talking or photography is allowed. It's one of my favourite places in the world. A real haven.
