Work, but still live like a traveler!

ABOUT ME

I've been in New Zealand since January 2008 and have just become a resident last year!It wasn't initially my plan to stay this long, but a NZ girlfriend (Julia, with whom I live together and is also a couchsurfer) and job AND me liking Wellington changed that. So now the plan is to stick around till the beginning of 2012 and then we are going to South America for another large overlander!

We haven't participated in much events or hosting lately, but now Julia and I have found our own place we are keen on hosting people coming through Wellington again.

Couchsurfing has been great for me, it's how I have met a lot of my friends!

Interests

Traveling of course, as that is what pretty much had the main focus in my life over the last 10 years. Always thinking about the next crazy travel plan. Besides that I do a lot of sports and enjoy going to festivals (at home in Europe to the long ones!) and concerts. Julia and I are also in the outdoors, we like to go camping at DOC sites with the occasional hike and going to the beach.
