ABOUT ME

In the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes. I am a huge art lover and an artist myself. Now traveling around the world & hope to travel to as many places as I can before I die.

But traveling allows me to meet as many people as possible

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am actively organizing events for travelers to meet and share their stories. What's your story?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Feb 2008:

Met John in Pittsburgh. That day was my birthday but I wasn't in a very good mood. John took me to dinner and we chatted. He is a really nice guy!

Mar 2008:

Went to Jersey City and met Joshua, he let me and my friend stayed at his place. Wonderful couch and also my first couching experience.

April 2008:

Met Lili, Alex, and Mable through CS events. My housing contract in LA expired and I couchsurfed at Lili's place for a few nights.

May 2008:

Hosted Sofie from Belgium in my dorm room in New York City.

June 2008:

Hosted Elaine and her brother in New York City. The funny part was they got lost in Washington Square Park and ran out of minutes on their cellphone.

Couchsurfed with Clarence in his nice guest room in Boston

July 2008:

Backpacked in Europe with my brother and sister. Got lost in Vienna, luckily Rao rescued us and let us stay at his place. Met another couchsurfer Alicia. The five of us went on a short day trip to Bratislava in Slovakia.

December 2013:

Five Years Later, I am hosting again! Hosted & met loads of friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked with my best friend in the Philippines in college and we almost died! We got lost in the woods and walked almost 2 hours in the dark under heavy rain with all our camera equipments. The path was so steep and slippery, it was so easy to fall off the cliff! We wrapped all our equipment with trashbags and managed to find our way back eventually.
The next day we took a cross town bus but it was full! So we sat on the top of the bus with a bunch of other people and goats! The bus was so shaky when running on uneven pavements and steep slopes, pretty scary, and it took us 3 hours!
