ABOUT ME

I'm pretty relaxed and easy to please.

I enjoy a good walk. I like maps. I'm an Okie. I'm married. I work at an art museum sometimes, therefore I love art.

I often travel with my wife, Kelsey. Here is her profile: https://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=5H9QT9I1A

PHILOSOPHY

Simplicity, Courage, Reason, Discipline, Faith, Honor, and Love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've found couchsurfing to be one of the best ways of experiencing a new place. It's so great to hang out with locals and hear their stories. And when you host you get to share everything you know about your home, which is very fun. I surf when I can, and host when I can.

Interests

hiking, literature, art, history, the ocean, theology, music, philosophy, beer, trees, boats, craft, wine, accordions, handmade furniture, and steak-and-ale pie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd like to think that every experience is amazing. We travelers tend to brag about the things we've done or awesome places we've seen, but I'd really like to learn to be content with (nearly) any situation.

Teach, Learn, Share

I currently suffer from that American curse, monolingualism. So I'd love help learning other languages.
