About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Always look on the bright side of life, turu turu turururu!!!

Making the best of this lifetime is my omnipresent mission. Personal growth, being happy, sharing with others, experiencing anything in life, becoming a better version of myself.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Spain, I have lived in many different countries in the past years. Travelling is one of my favorite things to do, as well as anything related to culture, art, nature and spirituality. I like meeting people that have a good conversation and know how to have a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy in life is doing my best to be happy and make people around me happy. As simple as that! We are born to love and learn how to love. A lifelong task. I like sharing with people and learning from each other. When you're good to yourself, you're good to the planet; when you love yourself, then you're ready to love the planet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I've surfed more than host due to the fact that I've been living with my parents until recently, but I'm off the nest now so I'm really looking forward to new experiences!! I already have had CS friends staying at my place and it's been fantastic! I also attend to meetings every once in a while.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time my sis told me about CS I was slightly worried about staying in someone's I didn't know in a different country; it was in Paris. She finally convinced me, and from that first experience on I haven't been able to stop using it every time I travel! I've met such amazing people and lived unforgettable experiences thanks to CS. I have to admit once you try it, it really grips you! I just LOVE IT!!!!

Interests

CS (of course!), nature, spirituality, metaphysics, listening to music, going out to eat and get drinks, travelling, reading books, films, long conversations with a cup of tea, looking at the sky at night, and any experience that's new for me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm such a movie-predator! I like almost anything, but more into independent kind of movies.

I also enjoy watching and getting hooked up on TV shows. Unlike with a film, you are able to attach to the characters and have like a double life off reality.

I wish I read more often, but I enjoy evading from reality by reading a good book behind a tree or in a cozy cafe every once in a while. Used to read more fostion, and more into personal growth kind of books nowadays.

Music makes my life go round! I enjoy joyful music but I practically listen to any kind from pop, to symphonic rock, balkan, oldies but goodies, jazz or mantras. Love going to concerts and experimenting new artists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All that includes adventure in my travels and life is more than welcome! I love things coming my way better than planning in advance. Having to sleep on the street in some of my trips has been such an experience; the fear, the emotion, the not knowing what will happen, the risk. You get to learn a lot form yourself when you push personal boundaries.

My last Sunday at NY, which at the same time happened to be my birthday, a choir of gospel sang and gave an speech in my honor. Very touching.

I was chosen out of the blue to perform with Mika during his concert at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcleona.

Watching the northern lights in the middle the night in Lofoten Islands.

Teach, Learn, Share

That's exactly one of my philosophies. Life's all about teaching, learning and sharing, right? I believe we all have great things to teach to and share with others. That's why CS has become an important part of my life; you get to share, teach and learn with so different and interesting people from such different cultures and backgrounds.
