About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To totally enjoy life, while being as kind as possible; to myself and to others
ABOUT ME
I am on permanent sabbatical from teaching elementary school, and now spending large parts of the year developing the newest Rural Literacy Project library in La Manzanilla, MX.
Progress on this and other life events is slow due to contracting Lyme over two years ago. My health waxes and wanes.
I have two great, and grown daughters, two grandsons and a wonderful ex husband. My passion, I finally discovered some 15 years ago, is to travel and to meet people.
I have website: sites.google.com/site/ruralliteracyproject/home based on a project that has been of great importance to me over the years
Recently taught in Tanzania and Cuixmala, MX. Taught yoga on paddle board and guided kayak tours on Martha's Vineyard off Cape Cod, MA for a summer. Now between Mexico and Massachusetts.
PHILOSOPHY
Fairness, peace, caring, laughter, living with a sense of 'happiness'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Painted squares of plywood with bright green and blue checks, dug behind ancient soda machines and bar stools in Guatemala, brought these to the little library we started there and watched the fun begin, CHECKERS ! No black and white boards for this crew, and the games were still being used years later.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone, as long as they are honest and kind. Even better if they can be serious, with a love of laughter
