About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to remain happy and healthy

ABOUT ME

i am an outgoing, a bit strange, but fairly chilled out 38 year old support worker (for adults with learning disabilities) who enjoys socialising and meeting new people, as well as spending time on my own. I did some travelling around australia in 2008 an loved it. would love to go back someday but now have a house in the UK so am stuck for the time-being! I love music (preferably live, but love alsorts), dancing, ouzo, chocolate, meeting new interesting people, being near the beach, my family and my friends, reading and scrabble. i don't have many horrible habits and i don't bite my toenails (anymore!).

PHILOSOPHY

as candi staton would say:"wooowooooo young hearts, run free"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met some lovely people through couchsurfing, after hearing about it from a fellow traveller on the plane journey to australia. there are some great people on here and i would like to return the favour and offer my bed to someone now i'm stuck in the UK!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have had a surfer stay at mine and found it to be a really positive experience! i've also met up with travellers through couchsurfing. i'm looking forward to further experiences in the weird and wonderful world of couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Australia for 3 months and travelled from the Sunshine Coast down to Portland (end of Great Ocean Road). I loved every day of my trip and hope one day to become rich and get over to Oz again, as well as visiting new placed. I also love Greece, I've visited several islands and loved every one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn new skills if anyone would like to share their own with me. I am fairly useless when it comes to languages but if I can think of something I can teach people, then I'll let you know!
