About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Get back to some 'normal' life!!

ABOUT ME
whoa probably one of the most difficult exercise!
what can I say beside I am open to other people and do not want to grow up at all (or too fast because i know i have no choice about it!) i'm probably a good example of the Peter Pan Complex.. so let's enjoy life for what it has to offer and let the bad days behind!

PHILOSOPHY
forget the past, don't think about tomorrow, just live the present day!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Up to now: great!! Both with people I hosted and the ones from the CS hosting community!
Small update after nearly 8 years participating in Couchsurfing, there is just a point i want to precise about CS in general: i've been hosting people for some time now and CS is not some way to get just free accommodation: it is a plus ok but it shouldn’t be the first reason about why people are here!
it is the same about meetings to some people or parties: CS is not a way to have some fun and free drinks and meals.. I'm not here to educate people but check out the following video if you have any doubt I am the only one thinking like that!^^

As i am single I prefer not to host any couple to be reminded of this situation..

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I can't list because it would be too long but I have no taste for horror movies or kind of satiric movies as the scary movies and so on (but I'm fond of Dogma!). About 'author' movies, I'm fond of Tarentino's or Kitano's movies.. I also like japanimation, but mainly the ones from Miyazaki, because I stepped out from being too involved with animation!

Series: a must-have-seen-one : How I Met Your Mother, and then, not in the order, 24, Sons of Anarchy, Suits and many more!^^

Music: I listen to about every kind of music with the exception of rap and (heavy) metal. My favorites kind are reggae (Bob/Damian Marley..), rnb (John Legend, Alice Russel, Joss Stone..) , lounge music (Cafe Del Mar and so on..) , trip(/hip)-hop (Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Timbaland..) and some pop-rock music (Alanis, Texas, Micky Green..)

Books: I like fantasy books (especially Weis and Hickman Robin Hobb and a few others, including Harry Potter!), but I don't mind from time to time to read fast paced booked as the Dan Brown ones or sometimes some french books (classical french writings, the Petit Prince being the one I like reading again and again, or just novels from writers who do not use the language of Shakespeare). The list would be too long but feel free to ask.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to some church's rooftop in the middle of Paris and get the best 360° vision ever!
Learned cooking thanks to the many people I hosted!! Here is the result of the work in progress:

Teach, Learn, Share

As I have been working with kids at some moment I know about different kinds of creative occupations (that can be fun not only for kids!), about cooking I'm far from being an expert but maybe I can give a fews tips, about swimming I can teach a little but don't count on me to give some demonstration in the Seine!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Drinks and cooking lessons!^^
