About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travelling whenever possible

ABOUT ME

I'm a Berliner who after spending an awesome year in a hostfamily in Canada went to France to study, spend a while in the beautiful Saarland only to go back to France to spend a nother few months there. Next plan is to go to Japan, hope that works out and of course Canada again and South America =). I love just about everything that's got something to do with nature, I'm in love with my bike and the rugby pitch. I'm open minded and always ready to get to know new places, cultures and languages =).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be happy to show anyone around Metz. It's a beautiful city with a great atmosphere and lots of things to see.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I only made good experiences through couchsurfing. I found a really nice tandem to practice my French with, found an old friend again and was received really nicely.

Music, Movies, and Books

Going to concerts, I usually listen to ska or reggae music, but outside the concert hall I'm pretty much open for everything although I don't like techno and house too much. I also listen to French music a fair bit.
As for books, I read Austen, Allende, Auel and anything fantastic and some poetry from time to time. It always depends on the mood I'm in. It is essential for me to always have a book at hand so I can start dreaming.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience I made so far was probably the year I spend in Canada in a completly crazy family, I just fell in love with them and the country. Hope I'll get the chance to go back there soon.
Another thing I really enjoyed was walking the Camino in the last two years where people are just really open-minded, welcoming and friendly. On this way I felt unbelievably free.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
