About Me

CURRENT MISSION

trying to keep a simple and easy life - dance and drink a beer with at least one person form every country

ABOUT me

i am a pretty normal guy who loves the fun and laughters, going out, and meet people with different perspectives.
I started traveling at 21 years old and I think my inner clock has stopped since then and I feel very young and free inside.

I am interesting about learning other countries way of life. I feel the best way to do so is to travel, but not the touristic way. I think the best way is to learn from the people and have fun with them.
i m an easy going open minded guy who loves to keep the spirit up and enjoy every moment without thinking too much. what i love the most is teaching what i know to people and learn from them.

PHILOSOPHY

Share life experiences with people, not thinking too much about the sad things, but see only the bright aspect of everything and the cup half full

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

by being respectful as much as i can with people.
by willing to show my city when i m around and discuss the differences between people

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in one month on a road trip through canada from Vancouver to Montreal then in Philly and DC, all between aug and Oct 2008, i ve been to 8 people s house and each time.

Then for 7 weeks from the end of March 2009, i did my huge US trip From Toronto down to Louisiana, Florida, then Texas, Cali, Nevada an Chicago, by couchsurfing most of the time, with a total of 15 hosts, amazing, so many new friends

then i couchsurfed in Indonesia, Australia, Latvia, Norway, France and Malaysia, in Costa Rica as well, and many others

Interests

i love visiting new countries, playing music, sports(basketball, football, soccer..)
just having fun and laugh out loud, dancing, doing useless things, and being simply natural with the people.

love comedy movies, steve carell, will ferrell, Adam Sandler....haha just writing their name makes me smile!!

Music, Movies, and Books

music: Everything lively and with no other goal but just to be music
I love the 70s, funk disco, Abba, earth wind and fire, pop rock, hip hop, jazz, top 40, house a bit...anything up beat making me smile and sing out loud like a kid :D

Favorite TV Shows:
Friends, the simpsons, fresh prince of bel air, family guy, scrubs, how i met your mother, Spin City, Lost, Prison break

movies:I enjoy going to the cinema a lot and switch off the brain and watch big blockbusters like the MARVEL movies (isn't what cinemas are made for), all these movies making me escape the real world and go to Pandora for example. and down to earth ones too like Shawshenk Redemption, the green mile.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one of the most unique experience of my life is to have hitchhiked with a road train trucker in western australia for 930kms, which took about 10hours in the middle of a saturday night, amazing moment and so interesting to learn from this guy.

it s not amazing, but it s not everybody who can stay: i took a surf lesson on the 24th of december (at the Australian gold coast)

as a musician, i did a concert with a total of 267 people playing together, quiet impressive eh

Better than that, i played some saxophone with a band at the Excalibur hotel in Vegas, totally wasted hahaha !!!!

kind of unusual but i worked for 5 month on board a big cruise ship as a waiter, visiting the pyramids in egypt, Athens, dubai among others

Working at disney during a whole year in 2011 is kinda amazing, cuz i spent my time going to theme parks all over florida :)

more sad than amazing, i slept twice outside on the ground like a hobo during my trips, in australia and sardegna...

I hike down most of the grand canyon and back in a day, if you knew how such a couch potato I am, you ld be impressed too !! :D
