Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer my couch, I try to use Couchsurfing as often as possible when travelling around (although this happens less often than I would like), I attend the monthly meetings and try to spread the word actively!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I host and surf whenever I manage to get some time free from work and my other duties. Unfortunately this is less often than I would like it to happen and so my couchsurfing experience is limited to having surfed about 30 couches and hosted a lot more (more than 200 - Feb 2011) people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Now, aside from traveling around the solar system several times last year.... I met a lot of people here and was able to get a rough idea of what is going on around me (which is not as easy as it sounds!)

Teach, Learn, Share

hmmm... what am I able to teach?I can teach you Spanish, German, English, Klingon.... programming in c++, c#, php, visual Basic, c, java and any other programming language you want me to... working with sql and mysql... html, SVG and CSS.... typo3, wordpress, b2evolution... browsers and apps... I can talk about the differences of browsers and software companies/policies for a week without running out of information... in fact, there is little I can't teach you as long as it comes to computers.Apart from that I can teach you how to avoid being fooled by esoterics and other pseudo-scientists!
