ABOUT ME

I am a very spontaneous person although I often have difficulties to make decisions ;-)

I love baking and cooking, kitchens and kitchen stuff. I love angling, especially for carps.

I play squash and table-tenis.

Sometimes, I talk a lot, especially when I know you for a while, whereas I am rather pretty quiet if meeting new people. Yes, in general, I'm rather quiet and not that talkative (especially in the morning!).

I don't smoke but I enjoy a bottle of beer or a glass of vine. Sometimes even two... ;)

I think that I'm good in listening to other people's stories and experiences. I'm not sure whether I'm a good narrator myself.

I'm totally into food and eating. It's terrible... Absolutely sweets and chocolate addicted...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a couple of couches in New Zealand and Australia and met just marvellous people! Couchsurfing contributed a lot to my fantastic holiday and made many things much easier...
also surfed a couch in Benin
Now, I'm getting started with being a host for other travelers
From time to time, I join CS-meetings and also I'm going to organize some meetings.

Interests

baking, squash, cooking, fishing...

I love to stay on the shore of lakes, watching the mirroring water.

I enjoy to spend heaps of time in the kitchen.

I also enjoy to watch movies and I like to listen to music of Johnny Cash.

I like the silence at night when everyone else is sleeping

I love Walk the line.
Beneath Country, I also enjoy Rock and Pop, Indie, House, Classic, Black and other music.

I've read almost all books written by Erich Maria Remarque (in German). Besides that, I like true stories about experiences and the Life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

***I helped a struggling disabled guy carrying his luggage. He was swearing and frustrated and became happy for my help. That was really amazing.

***a hitchhiking trip from Germany through France to the Mediterranean Sea and back through France to Switzerland with a friend who I have never met before. It happened just spontaneously and it was incredibly cool!

***Another hitchhiking trip for more than three months on my own: two months across the South Island of New Zealand in wintertime and five weeks along the Eastcoast of Australia, sleeping in a tent. Probably the most important and marvelous experience of my live.

***To experience Beninoise people and their lifes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy baking for or with others.

Sometimes, I even don't mind to do the dishes.

I also play Squash quite regularly which means I'd be happy to give you a brief introduction to that if you like.

If you don't like all that stuff, we just drink a beer ;)
