I live in Sonoma with my wife, Molly. I work at the local museum and coach the local water polo and swim team. In my spare time I like to make art and travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy exploring new places and cultures. I have been hosted by so many great people in my travels and I cannot wait to host more people in my town and make their experience here the best it can be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed about 18 or 19 couches in the few months I was traveling Europe in the summer and autumn of 2008. Before and after that I hosted a few people in the San Francisco area. I also like getting together with other CSers for the occasional drink/walk/exploration.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Spiral Jetty in Utah. It is apart of Earthworks, a sculpture made of natural materials that interacts with its' surroundings. It is in the middle of nowhere, and I drove like 18 hours each way to see it(worth it). Any photograph you will ever see of it will never do it justice. To be there and see it first hand was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced.
