About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see life through the eyes of the world.

ABOUT ME

I would consider myself a forward thinker. I love to travel and the whole mindset it takes to be a traveler. I love meeting new people and hearing all their stories, because I believe stories remind us who we were and where we have been, but a new story also lets us imagine where we could go. "Americans will not 'regain their membership in the human race until they recognize that their greatest need is no longer to make material goods but to make politics'". (Jimmy Boggs) 'Living for Change'. I just came acrosss this quote and I think it represents what I am doing in life at this moment and through my choices where I will be in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

I live this life to prepare me for the next one.
Live the life you love and love the life you live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined the project, but hearing about it from my roomate I thought I would check it out. I would like to start by hosting other travelers and get a feel for the way this project works. Hopefully through this site I will meet some interesting people. Also I believe you get what you put out, so I like to help others before I recieve help.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really have none except through the stories my roomate tells, but it is an amazing project that I think will only enrich my traveling experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't own a tv but indie movies or documentries, I will listen to anything that has a beat to move my feet to or a soul to move my heart and mind, and I will read anything in front of me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travel, and I think for those of us who do that is probably one of the top 10 amazing things we do. Because to travel means to leave all the comforts of your home and open your hearts beyond the fears and to open your mind to all that is around you. As far as the things I have seen, I think human compassion is the most amazing thing I have seen to this date.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn how to start an organization that would allow, high school seniors or 18+ students, to travel and volunteer in other parts of the world for a year before they go to college,(that isn't religion based). I would teach people how to learn different languages, because not only is it a great practice for your mind but, to be able to communicate any where in the world with out expecting people to understand english, just really appeals to me.(Diversity is the spice of life) I would share my home and food, because I am not "rich" that is all I can really give in a physical sense.
