ABOUT ME

I am very lucky to have landed a job that allows me to travel extensively and work on important, fulfilling scientific research into the way the climate works. I operate mobile instrument systems that analyze the atmosphere to determine how various components in the atmosphere influence the climate.

I am always looking for rock climbing opportunities and partners. I'm also into cycling, both mountain and road, cooking, running, and exploring.

PHILOSOPHY

What is not amazing if you start to think it closely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met some of my best buddies on couchsurfing. Thats what it is all about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Throughout my travels in Croatia, my friend and I rented rooms from families for a low price. I found that staying with a family was much much much more enjoyable than in a hotel, and slightly more than at a hostel. I'd love to see this kind of thing happening in the USA, and CS is the closest thing I've found to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in Malta for 10 months. This, in itself, is not an accomplishment. However, I completed all coursework necessary for an international Master's degree while there. That was a feat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to show the uninitiated what joys rock climbing can bring. If you have a neighborhood cliff, boulder, or climbing wall and a spirit of adventure, I have the know how and gear to get you from the bottom to the top and back down again in one piece.
